ammonium sulphate is a nitrogen fertilizer used on a large scale for over a century. its nitrogen is completely ammoniacal and therefore its action is progressive and lasting also because it is not washed away by the rains. ammonium sulphate exerts an acidifying action in the soil and is therefore recommended for fertilizing calcareous soils. of fundamental importance is the substantial presence of sulfur (65% so3) which allows to obtain quality vegetables with high quantities of vitamins contained. it does not contain any residues: 100% of the components are useful for the nutrition of plants and for improving the characteristics of the soil.
