The sugary chicory of Trieste is a tasty cut radicchio, tender and sweet if harvested very young, at a height of 5/7 cm. It acquires a pleasantly bitter taste (for those who like it) if left to grow and therefore "age" more. The seedlings are transplanted without separating them, placing 4-8 packs side by side, thus forming a row. It can also be grown on the balcony, in 50 cm geranium boxes, using 4 packs per box. After filling the pots with good quality soil, the seedlings are transplanted by partially burying the cubes. Irrigate 2-4 times a week depending on outside temperatures and brightness. Cutting board leaving 3 cm of stem to favor a quick regrowth. Possible up to 8-10 cuts repeated every 7-15 days. It transplants in February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October. Pack of 9 plants.
