Choose the fruit you love most!
Nice looking Mediterranean plant! The tree has deliciously scented white flowers that bloom all year round. In the second year after planting you will see the fruits hanging from the tree (it may be that the supplied plant already has the fruits ready for the first harvest).
Citrus plants perform best in large enough earthen pots placed in bright light. You can plant it in a spacious planter to keep on the balcony or terrace. In winter, find them in a place where they can overwinter in a frost-free way. The tree grows best in a sunny and protected spot. Immediately after planting, water the tree. Thereafter, water it only when the soil feels dry to the touch.
TREATMENT
The citrus tree in its varieties is perfect both in the garden and on the terrace. Plant it using potting soil and a large pot with holes in the bottom. Cover the bottom with a layer of potsherds or hydro granules. Add soil to the pot and place the root of the lemon tree at the right depth. Fill the pot with more soil, compact it and water immediately. Citrus plants prefer a sheltered and sunny position.
It suffers at below 0 ° C, make sure that in cold periods if the temperatures drop below 0 ° C it is placed in an area sheltered from such temperatures without ever reducing the light radiation.
PRUNING AND FERTILIZATION
The plant does not need to be pruned, but you can shorten the long branches in half and remove the twisted branches in February. Water regularly during the summer, preferably with rainwater. To improve the growth of the Lemon tree, add fertilizer to the irrigation water once a month.
For a correct fertilization of the plant, we recommend the use of the organic Citrus fertilizer Neem fertilizer, which contains the right amount of micro-elements that allow the plant to feed in a balanced and natural way.
