Drosanthenum Hispidum or Jupiter's Beard is an African plant characterized by very small light green leaves.

At the end of spring, the entire foliage disappears to make room for small, very showy flowers such as daisies.

Temperature: Requires frost protection.
Light: full sun.
Watering and environmental humidity: this perernne species will have to be watered more abundantly in summer (without exaggerating); with very low frequency in autumn-winter.
Substrate: garden soil, light, well-drained, sandy and not very fertile.
Fertilization and special precautions: they do not require special precautions. They can be grown in the ground or in pots.
Multiplication
They are transplanted in March under cover at a temperature of 15 °C. The seedlings must be staked out in boxes, where they will be strengthened until May. At this point, they are ready to be planted in the ground or in pots.
